The Garpan is very pleased that Gilles Thomas of the chain "UFO in history" (ODHTV) finally respond to our request to present some of his best videos. You should know qu'ODHTV is celebrating their 10 years of operation, and that over the last decade they have been the video channel most active UFO Francophonie : ODHTV it's videos THOUSANDS, conferences and weekly capsules ! Their database, "French ufology's Memories" contains long interviews with almost all major French ufologists, This represents a "priceless legacy".
I know Gilles Thomas since soon 4 years, and I assure you it is one of the most passionate ufologists I had the chance to meet. As he often organizes evenings & rsquo; observations, or vehicle. Gilles Thomas is always ready to work or to give a hand. He never lack good references to guide the researcher, or perseverance to tackle new aspects of the UFO phenomenon. With him, a "UFO story" is rarely black or white, rather, it raises questions restarted, and the conversation can easily last for hours. His UFO knowledge is remarkable and the extent of his contacts among European ufologists (Belgium, Italy, etc.) speak for themselves. I especially admire his friendly attitude, hardworking and humble, who never said anything against anyone and for whom the only things that count are "producing the next video ! "Or words to film pioneers and personalities of UFOlogy" for the good of posterity ", as Gilles often repeat.
The modern Ufology is still a recent heuristic discipline ; she will have 70 years next year. With this historical consciousness, one can easily guess that THOUSANDS of ODHTV videos will delight and will be sources of information ufologists for centuries to come !
