Pour une vingt-cinquième année consécutive, le Canadian UFO Review a compilé les statistiques OVNIs du Canada, rassemblant environ 1180 cas. Pour la seconde année consécutive, le GARPAN est le seul groupe ufologique du Québec à transmettre un bilan statistique complet, avec soixante-cinq (65) cas de notifications ou d’investigations:

Le Garpan a remis 54 cas en 2012 et 65 cas en 2013.
Le Canadian UFO Review établit aussi le palmarès des meilleures observations OVNIs de notre grand pays, en tenant compte des indices d’Étrangeté, de Probabilité et de Fiabilité du rapport. Encore une fois, le GARPAN se retrouve dans ce palmarès, mais cette année avec trois investigations dans ce TOP 7 des OVNIS 2013 au Canada !

DANS LE TOP 7 :
I. Une « Porte dimensionnelle » laisse échapper une boule lumineuse
4 mai 2013, à Saint-Jérôme (Laurentides)
Le 4 mai 2013, un homme dans la quarantaine fait de l’insomnie, ce qui ne lui arrive jamais. Vers 2h45, il sort sur son balcon pour se divertir avec son télescope. Soudain, quelque chose de vraiment extraordinaire se passe devant lui : il lui faudra une semaine juste pour surmonter l’événement, mais il en reste marqué durant des mois. Ce cas d’investigation a aussi été enquêté par l’équipe du Centre d’Études sur les OVNIs de Jean Casault, et je dirais même bien investigué par lui-même et ses collaborateurs (voir l’article). Toutefois, était donné que l’article de M. Casault débute en essayant visiblement de présenter le travail du GARPAN sous un jour défavorable, quelques remarques s’imposent, bien que cela me déplaise beaucoup, parce que cela demande d’impliquer la conjointe du témoin.
L’article de M.Casault commence avec un courriel (*voir note de bas d’article) écrit par cette dernière dans laquelle elle mentionne que le GARPAN semble avoir pris le témoignage de son mari de façon « banale »… Évidemment, cette déclaration s’explique par le fait que les témoins ignoraient que :
1. nous avions DÉJÀ parlé de ce témoignage à l’OVNI-SHOW, le 5 février 2014 ;
2. que ce cas d’investigation était dans notre Bilan annuel 2013 (cas no.48) ;
3. que cette importante observation était dans notre TOP 12 de 2013 ;
4. enfin, que nous avions préparé une très bonne vidéo-d’investigation de 15 minutes, mais qu’elle n’était simplement pas encore terminée…
Au regard de ces faits, il semble évident que M. Casault et son équipe n’étaient pas au courant de tout le travail que nous avions accompli sur cet important cas d’investigation… Toutefois, on peut conclure que ces circonstances n’auront servi qu’à renforcer la probabilité de l’événement et la crédibilité des investigations de ce cas ufologique puisque deux équipes l’auront traité de façon indépendante. On peut même ajouter que cela permet de comparer comment le CEO et le GARPAN travaillent et opèrent, et ce qui les distingue.
Notre excellente vidéo-d’enquête a finalement été publiée le 8 mars 2014. Je déplore toutefois avoir assumer lors de l’interview qu’il s’agissait d’un « vaisseau », et de ne pas avoir simplement dit OVNI, car le témoin utilise au cours du témoignage ce mot de « vaisseau » qui ne correspondait pas à son observation indescriptible : il l’appelle cet « énorme truc blanc »… C’est d’ailleurs un des mérite de M. Casault d’avoir mis en évidence la non-véhicularité de cet OVNI. C’est aussi la raison pour laquelle je tente de corriger le tir à la fin de ma vidéo-d’enquête en ajoutant le témoignage indirect de la conjointe du témoin qui rapporte précieusement ses paroles : « c’est comme si ce que je voyais était en 1D (en une dimension) » :
II. Une boule lumineuse rouge survole les arbres puis s’élève à la verticale
13 juillet 2013, à Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot (Montérégie)
Deux hommes, passionnés de méditation, avait discuté toute la soirée des sujets qui les passionnent, à savoir de la mythologie hindoue, des traditions religieuses de l’Inde et des civilisations évoluées de l’Antiquité. Soudain, vers 21h00, l’un d’eux remarque une boule lumineuse rouge au-dessus de la cime des arbres à moins 150 mètres d’eux. Durant les deux minutes suivantes, ils n’ont dit aucun mot, observant ce phénomène singulier qui se déplaçait tranquillement à l’horizontal, sur 1,5-2 km. Après cette distance, l’OVNI se met à monter à la vertical, puis disparaît.
L’un des témoins à constater, à un certain moment, que la ‘boule lumineuse’ a semblé être l’écran d’un mécanisme qui se trouvait à l,intérieur, et qui présentait des protubérances angulaires:
III. Un « convoi d’OVNIs » à Saint-Georges-de-Beauce ?, 23 février 2013, 21h00
EN SEPTIÈME POSITION, notre belle enquête sur les OVNIs de Saint-George-de-Beauce, dans la région Chaudière-Appalaches, à 30 km de la frontière américaine. Bien que l’événement se soit déroulé durant une soirée neigeuse, la présence de deux (2) témoins que l’on peut entendre réagir ‘live’ sur la vidéo qu’ils ont tourné — ainsi que les deux (2) photographies qu’ils ont pris — renforce grandement la probabilité que des « appareils non-conventionnels » ont survolé leur quartier vers 21h00 le 23 février 2013.
La vidéo-d’enquête est réussie en ce sens que le travail d’investigation qui sous-tend notre intervention auprès des témoins est bien mis en évidence. Non seulement les deux témoignages y sont colligés, amalgamés des documents visuels qui caractérisent nos investigation (photos, analyses des vidéos, reconstitution géo-spatiale sur carte Google), mais on y trouve aussi une vidéo de la témoin, tournée de jour, qui explique comment s’est passé l’événement et quel est exactement le décor que l’on voit dans la vidéo nocturne. Enfin, nous démontrons que certaines des lumières de la vidéo — qui ont été prises sur le coup pour des ‘lumières suspectes’ ne sont que des lampadaires du quartier. Néanmoins cela n’enlève en rien que précédemment des lumières anormales ont circulé, sans aucun son, au-dessus de leur quartier :

Casault mentionne avoir reçu ce courriel le 21 janvier 2014, ce qui me surprendrait énormément, parce que trois jours auparavant, le 18 janvier 2014, j’avais interrogé le témoin avec diligence et professionnalisme durant une demie-heure, comme nous pouvons d’ailleurs l’entendre dans notre vidéo-d’enquête.
