Il s’agit en fait du texte* paru dans notre livre Enquêter sur les OVNIs pour comprendre notre réalité, Quarante cas du Québec (1973-2013), remanié et agrandi d’un chapitre, « Les messages des contactés à l’humanité », qui donne certes une autre tournure à l’ensemble, mais s’accorde sans doute davantage avec la tonalité globale de ces phénomènes inexpliqués qui dépassent notre entendement et notre epistémè (Michel Foucault, i.e. la « conception du monde de notre époque »).
Ce livre rend hommage aux recherches du premier ufologue québécois Henri BORDELEAU pour souligner l’importance de l’ufologie civile dans l’acquisition des données directes (témoignages, éléments d’enquêtes, etc.) pour la réflexion ultérieure que l’ufologie en déduit et en décortique en comparant les cas semblables, les modus operandi du phénomène OVNI et les singularités « ahurissantes » de certains événements…
