OVNI à St-Adolphe-d’Howard le 16 janvier 2014 : quatre témoins
Au début de janvier dernier, une histoire d’OVNI a fait les manchettes au Québec, en particulier parce qu’elle a été reprise par un grand quotidien, le Journal de Montréal, en date du 15 janvier 2014, soit six jours après qu’un journaliste régional ait lui-même observé le phénomène en compagnie de monsieur Meilleur, le témoin qui affirmait régulièrement apercevoir des OVNIS dans son voisinage…
Toutefois, ce cas ufologique ne se démarquait pas tant des autres que nous pouvons recevoir en cours d’année et dont les indices d’Étrangeté et de Probabilité sont parfois plus élevés. En effet, qu’est-il arrivé avec le cas d’OVNI de St-Adolphe-d’Howard ? Plusieurs groupes ufologiques et commentateurs s’y sont intéressés, mais on dirait que seul un doute et une rumeur en sont restés… Il faut se rappeler qu’au plus fort de la « St-Adolphe-mania », une centaine de personnes se réunissaient le soir, aux heures indiquées par monsieur Meilleur, avec l’espoir de voir, eux aussi, un OVNI…
Justement, un de ces soirs, le 16 janvier 2014, soir de Pleine lune, un peu avant que la foule arrive, quatre (4) témoins ont observé ce qui apparaît hors de tout doute comme un OVNI :
– forme inconnue : « six ou sept boules de lumières » ou « hublots » d’une dimension totale de 35 à 60 pieds (10-15 m) ;
– vitesse et trajectoire caractéristiques : d’abord rapide, puis moins vite ; ça se déplaçait à la cime des arbres ;
– aucun son : et ce, malgré la distance, 500-800 mètre ;
– apparence impressionnante : les témoins sont étonnés que c’était aussi lumineux en dépit de la clarté du ciel crépusculaire.

Encore une fois, le GARPAN démontre son professionnalisme en offrant au public les résultats de son travail. On se rappellera que nous avons traité et/ou investigué soixante-cinq (65) cas OVNIs en 2013, et que le GARPAN est le seul groupe ufologique du Québec a avoir remis un bilan annuel et ses statistiques au Canadian UFO Review, l’organisme officiel qui s’occupe depuis 1989 de compiler les statistiques OVNI au Canada :

On ne peut pas se plaindre car, avec ce cas de St-Adolphe-d’Howard et celui de St-Zénon — de janvier 2014 aussi — nous nous retrouvons avec la responsabilité de traiter deux des cas ufologiques du Québec les plus attendus de la part du public québécois en en cette année 2014. Or, voici la problématique : bien que le GARPAN ait démontré que nous sommes le groupe ufologique le plus rigoureux et performant du Québec, et que notre travail soit aussi apprécié à l’étranger (France, Belgique, USA), toutes les recherches que nous accomplissons bénévolement ne sont aucunement rétribuées.
C’est la raison pour laquelle nous avons lancé une campagne de financement pour opérer et offrir notre service aux témoins d’observation OVNIs. Afin de récolter 3 000 $ d’ici le 31 mars, nous offrons notre Bilan annuel 2013 (de 73 p.) pour seulement 4,99$. Nous acceptons aussi des dons monétaires et de l’équipements : appareil photo-vidéo, imprimante, compteur geiger, détecteur de métal, etc.
En date du 3 mars, nous avons récolté 55 $ su 3 000 $ : ce qui rend l’appréciation de nos travaux de la part du public et de nos confrères en ufologie, peu reconnaissante, si l’on considère :
– d’une part, la qualité et l’importance de nos travaux ;
– et d’autre part, l’appréciation et l’attente du public par rapport aux phénomènes OVNI et à la réalité prochaine du « Disclosure »…
Dites-moi, pourquoi un commis ferait 20 000 $ par année et un médecin 80 000 $ et un ufologue moins de 3 000 $ ? Après tout, si , avec Jean Casault, nous considérons les ufologues comme les philosophes des 20-21èmes siècles, ceux-ci ne seraient-ils pas les « médecins de la civilisation » ?…
