Cette observation aurait eu lieu probablement au printemps 2010, mais la dame n’est plus sûre du moment exact.
Elle et son conjoint roulait en automobile sur l’autoroute 40 est en direction de Québec lorsqu’ils ont soudainement aperçu dans le ciel à très basse altitude un énorme OVNI qui était pratiquement stationnaire juste avant la sortie du rang St-Philomène, près de Berthierville. L’OVNI était extrêmement proche, pratiquement au-dessus de leur tête. Elle évalue la hauteur à laquelle était l’ovni à 2 ou 3 fois la hauteur d’un viaduc traversant l’autoroute. La hauteur de l’OVNI pourrait être comparée à celle des avions qui sont sur le point d’atterrir. Son diamètre devait être d’au moins 60 mètres (« plus large que les deux autoroutes réunies est-ouest »). Il ne faisait aucun bruit.
L’engin était de couleur gris-brun. Il lui semblait matériel et en même temps évanescent. Une légère brume était présente autour et un peu en-dessous, mais celle-ci ne l’empêchait nullement de le voir clairement. L’engin avait la forme typique d’une soucoupe volante et il y avait des lumières blanches (?) en-dessous, mais qu’elle ne puisse pas donner plus de précisions, car ses souvenirs ne sont pas clairs sur ce point.
Ses souvenirs de cet évènement sont parfois clairs et elle a comme des « flashs » et. à d’autres moments, ils le sont moins, c’est pourquoi elle tenait à raconter son histoire et songeait à se faire hypnotiser afin d’éclaircir certains points.
Elle a parlé de cette observation exceptionnelle à sa famille et à ses proches, mais comme il y avait peu d’intérêt de leur part, ses souvenirs de l’observation sont comme tombés en oubli.
Elle précise qu’au moment de l’observation (20h30- 21h00) c’était la pénombre. Le soleil venait de se coucher. Ils n’étaient pas seuls à avoir vu l’ovni. Trois ou quatre véhicules étaient présents en avant d’eux et ils ont tous ralenti à la même vitesse en même temps autour de 30 à 40 km/h. Elle dit qu’ils ont semblé perdre la notion du temps.
Le témoin mentionne qu’environ une semaine après, ils sont retournés sur l’autoroute 40 en direction de Montréal et ils ont constaté que ce segment de l’autoroute était fermé. Elle se demande pourquoi la bretelle de l’autoroute était fermée sans raison apparente alors que les travaux de construction étaient terminés.
Elle ajoute qu’elle aimerait beaucoup entrer en contact avec les personnes qui auraient été témoins elles aussi de cette observation. Elle dit qu’elle ne s’est pas sentie menacée et qu’elle a eu peur, mais pas tant que ça, car elle tentait de trouver une explication rationnelle à tout ça. Néanmoins, au fond d’elle-même, elle savait très bien à quel phénomène elle avait à faire.
Elle croit que cette observation aurait duré 10 minutes !!? et elle se demande pourquoi elle ne s’est pas retournée pour le voir quand ils s’éloignaient. Elle avoue ne plus se souvenir si elle s’est retournée ou non.
Elle se souvient qu’ils se sont arrêtés 15 à 20 minutes plus tard au restaurant McDonald’s de Berthierville et ils étaient très énervés.
Elle se souvient d’avoir envoyé un courriel à sa sœur le jour même pour l’informer de son observation tout à fait exceptionnelle, mais ses souvenirs immédiatement après l’observation et dans les heures suivantes demeurent flous.

Le témoin se décrit comme une personne honnête, ne prenant pas de drogue ou d’alcool.
Il a toujours supposé depuis son enfance qu’il y avait des êtres plus avancés que nous dans l’univers et qu’ils nous rendent visite sur la Terre. Il avait de l’ouverture pour ce sujet sans plus. Par contre, sa conjointe Christine n’y croyait pas avant leur observation.
Résumé de l’évènement :
Le témoin n’est plus certain du moment quand a eu lieu l’observation. Après réflexion, il penche plus pour le printemps 2010 ou 2011.
Il a voulu noté le moment quand l’observation s’est produite, mais il a mis ça de côté et a oublié le moment de l’observation. Il regrette aussi de ne pas en avoir parlé avant avec des personnes spécialisées dans le domaine des ovnis. Il ne voulait plus en parler à cause des situations de malaises avec son entourage lorsqu’il en discutait à ses proches.
Le témoin et sa conjointe sont partis autour de 20 h 00 de Montréal et il faisait encore clair. Le trajet prend habituellement une heure pour se rendre à Berthierville et une demi-heure de plus pour se rendre à la ville où est située leur résidence.
Passé Joliette, sur l’autoroute 40 direction est vers Berthierville, ils ont vu à leur gauche, soit à environ 125 pieds de l’autoroute de la voie de gauche (direction ouest), quelque chose d’immense.
« C’était immense, immense, immense. C’était gris bleu en métal. Ce n’était pas un avion. Ce n’était pas humain et ça avait quatre immenses pattes. »
Il n’y avait aucun son. Sa conjointe lui a dit : « As-tu vu ? R’garde-le, r’garde-le ! »
À ce moment, le témoin l’aperçoit au loin à sa gauche soit environ ¼ ou ½ mile et en une fraction de seconde, l’objet était rendu très proche d’eux à gauche. Il ne l’a pas vu se déplacer.
L’observation a eu lieu à environ 2 km avant la sortie St-Philomène.
Il y avait deux ou trois voitures en avant eux et une autre en arrière d’eux et elles ont toutes ralenties à la même vitesse en même temps autour de 30 à 40 km/h. Selon le témoin, ce ralentissement s’est produit au même moment où sa conjointe a aperçu l’engin au loin à leur gauche. Alain mentionne qu’il n’a pas enlevé son pied de l’accélérateur. Ils ont gardé cette distance pendant un kilomètre ou deux avec les autres véhicules jusqu’à la sortie de St-Philomène.
« Ce qu’on a vu, c’était bouleversant et on avait aucune réponse à ça… »
« J’ai surtout vu le dessous de l’engin. C’était à environ 200 pieds de moi à ma gauche. ». « C’était immense comme un gros building. Plus gros qu’un gros Boeing ».
Description des « pattes » de l’engin :
« Les quatre pattes étaient carrées et il y avait des barres sur chaque côté en diagonale des pattes. Elles semblaient en fer. Elles semblaient la même couleur que le ciel en arrière plan. Chaque patte devait mesurer 30 pi par 30 pi [10 m x 10 m]. Elles étaient plus longues que larges. Ces barres en diagonale permettaient de rattacher les pattes à l’engin.
Il estime le temps de l’observation à environ 7-8 secondes.
Vu du dessous, le témoin a vu qu’il y avait une lumière au centre et une autre plus lumineuse et plus grande autour de l’ovni.
Le témoin avait l’impression que l’objet était sur le point d’atterrir.
Une heure de temps manquant ? :
Il nous informe qu’il y a un point très important pour lui, alors que celui-ci l’est moins pour sa conjointe. Il mentionne qu’habituellement, il part de sa résidence avant la tombée du jour et que le trajet pour se rendre à son chalet prend entre 1h20 et 1h30 au total, tandis que le trajet pour se rendre à Berthierville prend une heure. Avec le recul, juste avant son observation, il réalise que la noirceur est tombée très rapidement (« d’un coup sec »).
Après l’observation, s’étant rendus au restaurant McDonald’s, il a demandé aux gens sur place si quelqu’un avait vu cet engin ? Et puisqu’il n’avait pas l’heure, il a demandé à une personne quelle heure il était. Elle lui a répondu qu’il était 10h15 ou 10h20 (soir). Il s’est dit que c’est impossible, car lorsqu’ils sont partis, il faisait encore jour et ce n’est pas possible qu’à ce point du trajet (au McDonald’s), que l’obscurité soit arrivée aussi vite. Il n’aurait pas dû y avoir de la noirceur. Selon le témoin, il manquerait une heure ! Ils sont finalement arrivés à leur résidence vers 23 h 00.
Le témoin raconte que, juste après l’observation, sa conjointe voulait qu’ils arrêtent et qu’ils fassent demi-tour. Elle ne semblait pas consciente qu’ils roulaient à 30 ou 40 km/h.
Le témoin lui disait : « Il n’en est pas question, il n’en est pas question ! C’est dangereux, c’est dangereux ! Ne parle pas, on s’en va, on roule ! Regarde en avant ! »
Le témoin avoue qu’il a eu peur de cet engin gigantesque.
« C’était immense et ce n’était pas terrestre, c’est sûr. »
Divergence de témoignage :
Le témoin mentionne que lui et sa conjointe n’ont pas tout à fait vu la même chose. Aussi, le temps manquant l’a beaucoup marqué alors que c’est passé inaperçu pour sa conjointe. Il est sûr pourtant qu’il a été conscient à chaque seconde de l’observation.
L’interviewer mentionne que c’est souvent le conducteur qui remarque ces détails.
L’interviewer lui demande s’il y a quelque chose de changé dans la vie de sa conjointe depuis l’observation. Alain fait remarquer qu’il ne mange presque plus de viande et que sa conjointe fait depuis très attention à son alimentation. Elle ne mange plus de produits laitiers ni de viande. Elle s’intéresse davantage à la protection de la nature. Elle est végane. Note (selon wikipedia) : L’application du véganisme est la non-utilisation des animaux et le non-financement de leurs utilisations.
Lors des semaines qui ont suivi l’observation, Le témoin a éprouvé des difficultés à dormir. Il avait peur que ces « êtres » puissent le retracer et qu’il lui arrive quelque chose pendant son sommeil. Il avait peur aussi pour ses animaux domestiques.
L’interviewer lui demande s’il a fait des rêves particuliers suite à l’observation. Il répond qu’il avait peur et qu’il a fait des cauchemars.
Il sent qu’il y a quelque chose de changé en lui, mais il ne s’est pas senti agressé. Par contre, il dit qu’au moment de l’observation, il s’est senti vraiment observé par cet engin. Pendant l’observation, le témoin raconte qu’il a eu très peur et qu’il a commencé à prier. Il avait peur d’être enlevé.
L’interviewer lui demande comment il explique qu’il roulait à 30 ou 40 km/h. Il répond qu’il ne s’en est aperçu sur le coup.
