Lundi le 11 mars prochain aura lieu la conférence multimédia « La présence des OVNIs au Québec, Ce qu’il faut savoir pour comprendre » au Centre Lucien-Borne, à Québec.
Yann VADNAIS — un enquêteur en ufologie depuis trois ans ayant cumulé plus de 50 enquêtes — abordera de nombreux sujets fondamentaux concernant les OVNIs, en prenant très souvent appui sur des cas d’enquêtes personnelles ou sur des cas d’enquêtes célèbres du Québec. En passant par divers ordres de faits incontournables aux phénomènes insaisissables des OVNIs, c’est un survol général des idées que les sociétés se sont fait de ces «mystérieux véhicules volants», omniprésents d’époque en époque, jusqu’à notre ère post-moderne où ceux-ci ne sont toujours pas reconnus de façon officielle ni par les gouvernements ni par les institutions du savoir.
Or les «preuves» et les «reconnaissances officielles» abondent en 65 ans d’ufologie, et ceux-ci seront clairement réitérés afin de sensibiliser le public et les savants (qui ne sont toujours pas au courant de ces preuves et reconnaissances officielles) au fait que « les OVNIs ne sont plus du tout, de nos jours, une question de croire et de croyances, mais bien une question d’être au courant des faits ».
Le GARPAN (Groupe d’Assistance et de Recherche sur les Phénomènes Aérospatiaux Non-identifiés) a recueilli et enquêté 54 cas d’observations et de rencontres OVNIs en 2012. Depuis février, une ligne d’urgence a aussi mise au service de la population : 1-855-OVNI-UFO.
Cet évènement sera l’occasion pour rencontrer en personne deux (2) enquêteurs du GARPAN, et de s’initier aux perspectives fondamentales de l’ufologie («science, discours sur les UFO»). En effet, cette conférence GRAND PUBLIC constitue la première séance de l’Atelier-d’initiation en ufologie, que nous offrons à Montréal depuis février dernier.
